The Sharjah Institute for Heritage has also achieved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification — further strengthening the Institute’s commitment to quality across all dimensions of its operations, from heritage preservation and research to community engagement and cultural outreach.
ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s most widely recognised quality management standard, providing organisations with a system for consistently delivering services that meet stakeholder needs and expectations, while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
This certification complements the Institute’s achievement of ISO 21001:2018 — together creating a robust, internationally accredited management system that governs both the educational and operational dimensions of the Institute’s mission. It reflects a comprehensive approach to quality that spans every aspect of serving Sharjah’s cultural heritage mission.
UCS, accredited by GAC and ASIB under ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, is proud to have supported the Sharjah Institute for Heritage in achieving this quality milestone.
Congratulations to the team on this important achievement.
