The Government of Sharjah’s Department of Planning and Survey has achieved certification to ISO 10001 (Customer Satisfaction – Codes of Conduct) and ISO 10002 (Customer Satisfaction – Complaints Handling) — demonstrating an exemplary commitment to transparent, fair, and citizen-centered public service.
ISO 10001 provides organizations with a structure for establishing and implementing codes of conduct related to customer satisfaction, ensuring that commitments to customers are clearly defined and consistently upheld. ISO 10002 sets the standard for complaints handling, providing a structured process for receiving, evaluating, and resolving customer complaints in a transparent and accountable manner.
For a government department serving citizens and stakeholders across Sharjah, these certifications confirm that the department’s approach to public service is validated against internationally recognized standards — not only guided by best intentions, but independently audited. This achievement builds greater trust among the communities and stakeholders the department serves.
UCS, accredited by GAC and ASIB under ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, is proud to have supported the Department of Planning and Survey in achieving this milestone in customer excellence.
Congratulations to the team on this meaningful achievement.
