Our Accreditation

UCS is a certification body accredited by GAC on ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 Conformity Assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems. UCS is authorized to provide ISO certificates.

GCC Accreditation Center (GAC) is an independent body that provides accreditation services to conformity assessment bodies and activities related to accreditation such as training and awareness, as well as representing member states in international forums related to accreditation activities around the world. 

Our accreditation by GAC guarantees that we have technical competence and integrity of impartiality to carry out accurate audits and deliver credible certification services. This is vital to build confidence and trust in the certification process by our clients. UCS believes in the legitimacy of the certification process and that’s why it follows strict procedures to comply with the requirements of the accreditation body. These include ensuring that our auditors’ skills are up-to-date and that our services are delivered to our clients at high quality and in a timely manner.

UCS audits are carried out according to rigorous standards that highlight applicable nonconformities, allowing our clients to continually improve their business processes and performance.

UCS is under obligation to assess the capabilities of organizations for the accredited scheme and has no discretion to provide unaccredited certification for the accredited schemes. Some schemes do not have accreditation and we nevertheless apply the same rigor, processes, competence requirements and impartiality as if they were accredited.
